Aran is strengthening its position as one of the major players in the global BIB market: On July 1, 2016, Aran will open its new plant in southern Carolina under the management of Ms. Hila Frish-Manor and begin marketing its products to customers in the American market through its subsidiary, Aran USA. This is a major component of the Aran 2020 strategic plan, which will strengthen the Company’s position in the global liquid food packaging market and double the Group’s activity within five years. Local manufacture in the US will provide improved availability and accessibility, and increase Aran’s competitive ability in the North American and Latin American markets. The Company plans to offer a variety of packaging solutions to leading manufacturers in the US, Canada and Latin American countries, via a broad spectrum of products in the BagInBox world for the packaging of liquid foods, such as juice, wine, concentrates and purees.

• Strengthening existing activity in Aran Europe, based on the Company’s plant in Spain

• Expanding Aran Packaging’s laminate plant in Israel

• Significant penetration in North America and Latin America by means of local manufacture and marketing via Aran USA
